Painted Parfleche Earrings
These earrings are about 2 inches long cut from parfleche ( a rawhide) It is a hard type of hide that was once used to make shields for Native Americans to protect against arrows. The Hide is shaped then painted with a triangle theme. Traditional colors stand out as the centerpiece of these unique earrings.
