Cottonwood Feathered Headdress Native Man Figure
This sculpture is 20" x 6" hand-carved and painted. As big and heavy as it might seem, this sculpture is actually very light-weight. There are multiple tribal markings carved and painted into the sides of the figurine. Shaped like a Native man with a feathered headdress. The back features bear claws, bears, deer paws, a thunderbird and horses running in a circle painted with traditional colors of the Medicine Wheel. In the center is a shield painted with numerous feathers. Made by local Native American Artists Reginald Yellow Horse of the Oglala Lakota Tribe. A very talented man, this piece is and always will be one of a kind.
